ParkLast Terms of Service
The terms for using ParkLast, the Android app that remembers where you parked.
1. The service
ParkLast notices when your phone disconnects from the Bluetooth system of a car you set up and saves the parking location using your phone’s location services. You can then navigate back to the car with an external maps app.
2. What the service needs
Automatic saving depends on your phone and its settings:
- Bluetooth on;
- location permission set to “all the time”;
- location services on;
- the manufacturer’s battery and background restrictions;
- GPS reception.
ParkLast tells you when a required setting is missing. Even so, there may be times when a location is not saved.
3. Location accuracy – no guarantee
- ParkLast uses your phone’s location services. Inside buildings and underground car parks, location signals may be limited, so a saved location may be approximate rather than exact.
- ParkLast does not detect the parking level.
- We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or that every parking will be saved.
4. Navigation through other services
- Navigation opens a third-party maps app, such as Google Maps, with the saved coordinates.
- The destination name it shows, the route and walking times are decided by that app and are outside our control.
- Please walk and drive carefully and lawfully.
5. Paid subscription
- Automatic saving requires a paid subscription bought through Google Play. There is no free trial.
- The price, billing period and automatic renewal are shown by Google Play before you buy.
- You can cancel at any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.
- “Restore purchases” in ParkLast’s settings restores an active subscription on the same Google account.
- Without an active subscription, ParkLast does not save parking locations automatically and tells you so.
6. Refunds
- We offer no commercial refund commitment beyond what the law requires.
- Your rights under applicable law, including consumer-protection law, and under Google Play’s refund policies are preserved.
- Refund requests are made and handled through Google Play.
7. Privacy
How ParkLast handles data is described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
- The service is provided “as is”.
- To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss caused by a wrong or missing saved location, for example a fine, lost time or towing.
- Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded by law.
9. Changes
We will publish changes on this page with a new effective date, and tell you in the app about material changes.
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. If you use ParkLast as a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts those laws allow. Otherwise, the competent courts in Israel have jurisdiction.
